After having tacos last night, I think I finally got a recipe ready to post. I have been working on it for awhile and need to get it right before sharing. So for all you taco lovers that wanted tacos and forgot to buy the taco seasoning packet when picking up the groceries.
- 1 lb of lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1/4 cup flower
- 1 T chili powder (you can decrease the amount to turn down the heat. Try up to 2 tsp.)
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp or dash of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup of water
Mix all ingredients well then cook until meat has browned. Serve on taco shells and top as desired.
